Finally he is back, top trader Tom Strignano and now he joined forces with another forex guru Vladimir Ribakov.
Why I am so excited? I am indeed. Why?

Let me tell you why. You can be one of the following 3 people, if you are reading this post:
1) You are new to forex
2) You tried some robots, got disappointed or scammed, and realised that manual trading is the way to go
3) You know that robots do not work and want to learn how to trade property.

Now when I started in Forex Trading, I too got excited about robots even though (myself being software architect, I knew at the back of my mind that $99 robot can’t make you rich) I believed that at least I can pay at least the bills. I got disappointed many times, requested refunds every time, shattering my dreams at the same time.
Way too soon, I realised that making money in the markets is not that easy! That’s the reality indeed. I believed all the hype about trading systems and the way they were marketed by scrupulous internet marketers. I also bought $2000 learning course with 3 systems marketed to be profitable systems, again the systems failed.
In the meantime, I kept learning more and more and the more I learnt, the more I realised that it is possible to make money in the market if you have the following 3 things in place:
1) A box of successful trading strategies, profitable in the long run
2) Effective Money Management Technique
3) The correct mindset to trade – you should be able to control your emotions as regards to fear and greed and of course be disciplined (point 2)!
Experience and feel of the market do come into play, but the above are imperative.
I lacked skill. At that time I always thought that I need one profitable trading system and just apply it! I was deadly wrong. I was not able to interpret what the chart was telling me, so I was just applying my trading system blindly and hope that it goes in favour of me.
Luckily then, I came to know about Tom Strignano Signal Service (the old service) and that changed completely my way of trading – the blind way of trading.

Here is the way to look at a trade:
Once you identify an entry point for your trading system, first thing to do is to find a good point to place your stop loss. Too tight to your entry point, you may be stopped out soon. Too far away means you are risking a lot. So you need to find older resistance support / resistance lines, or just below / above trend lines, pivot points or TRN levels (more on these later). Furthermore I need to have a feasible risk to reward ratio. I will risk 30 pips to potentially earn 30, 60 or 90. There are many systems with 75 pips stop loss to earn 10 or 20 pips! Complete none sense.

After that, depending on our stop loss, we need to calculate the appropriate trading lot size (money management!) and then we need to find exit points. When are we going to exit the trade? Mind you, a profit of 10 pips when the trade went up by another 50 pips, that’s also lost money since you could have gained at least another 30-40 pips. So when are we going to exit? Again we try and go near support / resistance lines, or trend lines, pivot points or TRN levels or a head take has formed near a resistance points. Recommended approach is to have at least 1 profit target, once you reached that you close half of your position and then apply a trailing stop and let profit s run! This is where you make the real money!
If you are not understanding anything of the above, apologies, but that’s the real trading guys. Forget the bullshit you read outside – you may argue that this is also bullshit, but this is real trading. This is what top gurus and successful traders use day in day out to make money every day in the markets (if the market moves!).

I learnt the above and much more simply from Tom Strignano.

Something else, forex is a game of numbers and you have different levels of players. Some people think that the currency pair will go up, while at the same time, others will think that the market will go down. So money is exchanged and depending on the buying or selling pressure the market moves up or down. And who are the players? There are us with maybe $1000, $5000, $10000 accounts, then there are others with larger accounts (experienced successful traders) and of course there are the chief traders, large institutions, fund managers, brokers and banks!
Who moves the market up and down? Banks and there alleys! Do you think banks have a $1000 account? And these guys are after your money the end of the day! This is one way for them to make money! So you have two options – you either be an alley with the banks and their friends or be on your own with your little trading system borrowed from a friend, or from a forum trying to make some pips a day. Even worse with a robot! Where would you prefer to be? With the banks of course! But how can I become their alley? Simple – trade the way they trade! Yea – how? Notice that I only mentioned LEARN! There was twice a week webminars teaching you how to trade like a pro. I am not a pro, mind you, but I learnt a lot and lot. And eager to learn more – this is why I am so excited that it is going to open again.

So what about signals etc.? Tom Signals are great and profitable if you follow the rules by the letter. However you need to be flexible enough to change strategy if the market has changed in the mean time – you need to learn how to properly manage the trade! And you need to watch and manage the trade as it is developing. It is more of an intra day trading strategies based most of the time on trend line breakouts. So once a signal is out – you need to have the time and manage the trade because you will have 6 profit targets, stop loss and market exhaustion point. Looks complicated? Is not believe me. But you will also learn how to trade within channels, within trend lines and other amazing systems like the head take system, and the magic lines – TRNs!

TRNs
So ever wondered why the market was moving up fast – and for some reason it turned around? Most probably because it has hit a TRN level! These are propriety levels developed by Tom himself during his career and these levels are used by the banks and their alleys. Trust me-these are very very accurate. I saw trades where the price hits exactly the TRN level to the pip and turned around straight away. Most of the times, it hits the TRN, tries to break through the TRN, and turns again around. Or you will feel that the TRN is not going to hold hence the trend is going to continue hence you will trade against the TRN in this case. You will learn how to trade these powerful levels when you join the service. I only used to trade these TRNs while I was a member because with my full time job I can’t watch the market all the time. So I used to trade only TRNs and was very very very successful. This is why I am happy that Tom is re launching the service – my lovely TRNs are back!
So look how all this makes sense. If you have a trading strategy and at this point in time a trading setup has formed to go long (buy). If you know nothing of the above, you will just buy the currency blindly. BUT if you know All the above and you know how to read the charts, and how to look for resistance / support lines, how to draw proper trend lines, know where Pivot Points are (mind you, pivot points supplied by Tom part of the service are more accurate than the once you find for free on the internet), a head take has formed or you are close to the TRN, will you buy the currency? You will probably wait to see what will be the price action at any of the levels mentioned above. If the price is near the TRN, I will probably go short instead (sell) and if a Head Take has formed I WILL definitely go short while you are long! And then you wondered why a perfect trade setup has not worked out! I knew about the TRN Level – so I had this insider information since I am an alley of the banks and I am after your money. From what I saw in the video, it seems Vladimir system is long term strategy and hence it is ideal for those people like me that do not have the time during the day to stay in front of the computer all day long. And this is a big plus too! He seems a nice guy too.

So you may ask -since I traded only TRNs I stopped trading? To be honest yes. First I was busy and couldn’t follow the market – and I am very stupid since Eur has really weakened since January! BUT the same principles I learnt from Tom, I have successfully applied them in the stock market and was very successful indeed – following major shares, not the penny shares just to be accurate like Apple, HSBC, Barclays and similar shares. The stock market moves so slow compared to forex market and gives me enough time to review the charts daily. But since now TRNs are back I will be back to the forex market!

Phew, this article came to long. I do recommend Strignano Vladimir. It looks even better now. BUT this is not a quick rich systems. You need to learn, you need to have the commitment to learn since trading is not easy as 99% of internet marketers claim to be. It is very hard and you need to be on their side. Being with Strignano and Vladimir puts you at edge over the other traders!

Strignano Forex Signal Service Price Going Up Soon

To be honest I had hopes in this robot, since the sales page was different from the normal crap. They also updated their customers with newsletters of what is going on and they also released update of IVYBot. Although these could be tricks to reduce refunds as much as possible.

During the challenge we only had 2 trades, but you can follow the failer from other users, in my other blog here – IVYBot Review settings. It is the most active post in the blog.

Why I think this?
Initially they promised an update just 1 week after release, and they promised that the new release will be in a week. The new release was released 2 weeks ago, just about the first customers are due to their 60 day policy refund. A customer may think “wow we have a new version, lets give it more time. They also feel good about themselves and the robot’s customer service.” In no time, the 60 day trial expires.

I may be completely wrong, but this is the worst robot I even tested. It’s worse than Fap Turbo!

Final Judgement
At the end of the day, results count, and the robot failed to deliver completely.

IVYBot New Release – finally

Trading Week 10th – 14th August: Winning Week
This was a great week for IVYBot. 7 trades, 7 winning trades.
Profit of $54.04 with 0.1 lots default settings.

One thing to note here is that IVYBot left a trade open on Friday which I didn’t like.

Trading Week 17th – 21th August: Confusing Week
Well I was waiting for a loss trade to calculate the stop loss IVYBot is doing by default, and finally we got one, more than one

I had one trade that I am sure of, with a loss of -$171.39, with 0.1 lots. My demo account is $1000, so basically 17.14% loss. NO GOOD. Your risk per trade must always be 2%-5% per trade – NO MORE, in fact recommended is 2%, but 17.14% loss is very bad, extremely bad.

It is a proven fact that even if your account falls by 50%, it will be very difficult to recover. With 17.14% risk, with 4 – 5 successive bad trades, then we can simply close everything down. And hey I am not an expert trader far for it, but I do trade and money management is the most important thing in Forex. Risk more than 5% per trade, keep waiting for your bad trade to become good, and you are wiped out in a day or two.

Anyway back to IVYBot, I still can’t understand why it is risking all that amount, for just 8pip profit!

There were some more good trades along the week, but is useless to talk about them with that -$171.39 loss since the profit is negligible.

And yes I have 3 yes 3 open trades by Friday with total loss between them of around $150. I bet this will end up with $500 compound loss.

Yes Monday morning I stopped IVYBot from my Live account since I knew something is wrong – thank God.

Action Plan for next week.
I will create a new demo account $1000, will set a stop loss of 5% per trade, that is 50 pips and see how it will go. This is how I was thought to trade Forex, and it is the only way that works, so if IVYBot do not like the stop loss than he may simply f**** off.

I will test with 70 pips as well although I am not very keen on this, but will do.

And apologies for not cooperating lately.

PS: Forex Decimator did some good trades, but eventually I got confused since with that demo account I am testing some expensive services (but are extremely reliable) and I got confused which trades were of Forex Decimator robot. hehe now I have separated everything.

IVYBot Results August 14 and 22

I am reading elsewhere that the robot is doing good trades.  Jusat few hours ago our friend Teodore has posted his experience / results in this blog – see comment here - Ivybot Settings.  I have also taken Teodore advice and changed the broker.

I don’t know if the broker plays a very important role in the case of this robot, since IVYBot should be a long term trading robot – but anyway let’s see.

Up for next post and if someone have good / bad experience with this robot please go ahaead and post here.

Changed Broker – now on Alpari

First Landing Page

When the robot went on sale, they had one particular landing page.

In a nutshell, the landing page speaks about

• A guy called XXXXXX – is a mathematical expert who has developed the system
• The robot creater was broke and then met this guy XXXXXX that shared the system with him
• The sales page mentioned a number of prices but ultimately the price was qouted.
• NO MONEY BACK GUARANTEE – WOW WOW

I was going to buy the robot, but when I saw that there no warranty, I said FUCK OFF. With so many suckers and scams forget it I won’t risk my I money.

Second Landing Page

Few hours later, I received another email, and for some reason I clicked the link like an idiot.  To my amazement I saw another landing page with a different story!

• Now we guy have no name since it cannot be revealed to the public
• Now the guy is broke and not the creator of the robot like the previous story.
• The creator helped the guy by giving him the system and not vice versa
• NOW WE HAVE A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE – WOW
• The guarantee is not with clickbank – so my personal opinion FORGET IT

FOREX Systems – Aren’t we fed up with all these CRAP Landing Sales Pages?

Even if this guy may have the best robot in the market, I think he screwed everything by these landing pages.  It was more convincing the first landing page to be honest than the second one, but anyway.

I understand that Internet Marketers invent all emotional stories to generate sales, but with so many crap systems released every week, some buyers are being put off rather than emotionally triggered to buy the product.

And now it seems that there is this new trend to get away from Clickbank and use another company. Maybe these companies take less commissions than Clickbank, but  I believe the customer would love to really have money back guarantee.  I am always put off if the product is not bought through Clickbank.

I know that this can be abused and I understand the vendor point of view, BUT if you have a robot that really works, really delivers the promises of the landing page, really gives you financial freedom, I pay triple the price for the robot and not ask for a refund.

I am still waiting for that landing sales page which is HONEST, DOES NOT SELL YOU DREAMS BUT instead really sells you something of value, a system, or robot, or training course that really works with NO BULLSHIT.

Please share your point of view on this subject and tell us of good Forex honest services, courses etc which really delivers value to the customer and is worth every penny.

All these robots and scams coming out – why cheating the customers?

From my side I am using the default settings, since I feel it is too early to start messing around with settings, although yes you can play around with back tests etc., but my question is:

If the creators of this robot have good intention and are good people and they are not scammers, they should have done the back tests themselves and the default settings should be the optimal.

Yes I am day dreaming, but I want to review the robot the way it was sold to the customer first, and then we will start optimising – if it will be worth our time.

IVYBot Settings

The most active pair was as expected Usd / Jpy. We had 3 completed trades, 2 losses and 1 win as per image below.

Right now we have another open trade in Usd / Jpy at a profit of $16.47 at the time of writing this post.

My Thoughts so Far:
At some point the last two trades in which the Usd / Jpy resulted in a loss of -$96.84 was at a profit of around $80.00. For some reason the trade was not closed.

Similarly the other trade which at the end resulted in a profit of only $41.46, at some point it was at a profit of around $90.00 and again the trade was not closed. Although later was closed for a final profit of $41.46.

I don’t know why they weren’t closed, although to be honest I expected them to be closed automatically.

Probably I will leave the default settings running for another week and then we will start tweaking around and the run begins.
