IVYBot Review First Open Trade
Hello there,
IVYBot has just opened the first trade in USD / JPY pair.
What I don’t like is that the S/L (stop loss) is 0.

I need to see why SL is 0. SL means stop loss – at what quotes the order should close in case the trend goes against us. It is very important since as is the SL can go all the way down and wipes out our account.
Right now the trade is +12.60 up – but hey it is to early to blow whistles.
For tomorrow and we will see how the trade ha closed.

Im actually demo trading in Alpari(US) with IvyBot … and its working perfectly…is it only AlpariUK that doesn’t work.
I didn’t get the 5digit version … I don’t think it came out yet anyways.

Hi, Welcome to this blog. I had another bad trade but then a good trade yesterday. I will post later this information.
I am using Basic FX as demo, and yes Alpari UK is 5 digit so I can’t use it for now.
The update is not out yet, but I am not in a hurry either until I have confidence in the robot
I am glad you are doing well, since I am not that happy yet with it – but we are still in the beginning.
I actually had 4 trades last week, 0 this week.
The first two trades were both profitable of 82pips each, on the 2nd two they hit my S/L. I set the S/L to 100pips, which was my fault. I checked the results over, and had I left it with 0 S/L like the default was, they would have all been profitable trades. Now Im not sure if IvyBot entered another trade after losing the 1st one (which was my mistake again)…to try and recuperate that loss, or because it actually saw a profitable trade oppertunity.
Anyways…the point is that IvyBot has not had any losing trades for me (if you minus the ones that I added my S/L to…which were my fault). All those trades were on the USD/JPY.
Again using Alpari US-demo, trades fine for me.

Is good to hear that others are doing well with IVYBot since for me it is not working so great. Maybe I did something wrong in the installation
I will give it another week and change broker – I trust more Alpari to be honest.
hi, i just buy ivybot, but seem don’t get any entry yet..
from the mannual, it say it ivybot will auto adjust the stop loss?? true or not. thank

Goodluck with IVYBot – you need it! Have a read around this blog, since it will answer all your questions.
Yes IVYBot will close the tradw whenever he wants to. It may wipe even up to 10% of your account. There is no money management inside the robot.
