Changed Broker – now on Alpari

I have just changed the IVYBot robot to Alpari Broker since with Basic FX it the robot was a complete disaster.  I had another big loss trade of -$112.

I am reading elsewhere that the robot is doing good trades.  Jusat few hours ago our friend Teodore has posted his experience / results in this blog – see comment here - Ivybot Settings.  I have also taken Teodore advice and changed the broker.

I don’t know if the broker plays a very important role in the case of this robot, since IVYBot should be a long term trading robot – but anyway let’s see.

Up for next post and if someone have good / bad experience with this robot please go ahaead and post here.

Hi Guys, sorry missed this conversation since I went to sleep earlier.

Mine did not traded at all, and as I said somewhere, IVYBot is not delivering results.

@Linus – when you got your clickbank receipt, there is a link, in that email, it goes to clickbank page, and click support. One of the options is refund. You will get it in 2 days. I will claim mine next week.

Hope you will keep following us on my new blog – Forex EA reviews.

mine is still trading…. at -19.00 now…it got poitive for a short time (2- 5 dollars it appears)….but I will let it continue to run but it appears as though ivy bot let a huge easy trade go (the downtrend on USDJPY and then sold at the exact bottom of the trend…….. and yes to linus I have not seen a buy on that (or any other) currency yet.

I saw the little profit as much as $15.00 then it took off in the other direction fast and hard going to 93.5+ thats when I decided to get out at the next little drop, before everything was lost , again it seems to want to short at the bottom?? when it should go long . I’m using ALPARI US for my broker. I think IVYBOT is for the most part a shorting program that seems to have its support and resistence numbers out of balance

mine closed for a loss of 37.00 making the bot 0/4 with trades….If I had done the exact opposite of the bot I would have made a nice return….could you possible wait and see what the bot does and do the reverse? I am going to get my refund however and then try the robominer.

I just requested my refund from click bank. IVYBOT is not living up to there claims not even close. I’ll be intrested in knowing if any other Bot lives up to there hype? I may try a Oil trading system? anybody have any opinion on it?

I don’t even want to run the IVYBOT without keeping a eye on it . I stopped my expert advisor so Not to enter into a trade. The face it doesn’t set a S/L bothers me taken account it is Not hitting its trade calls and going pretty bad in the wrong direction. Maybe it’s a programing mistake but I’m riskin anymore money on it’s calls . 0/4 is not the good and I looked at another statment and it shows even more then that last week so it’s more link 0/6

hi teodor, I need to reply to your email … later..

I got wiped (demo) also with the crazy robot…

no no RoboMinor does not use Martingle Systems, I told you in one email that Martingle are very dangerous…It still splits the trading range in a grid ans makes buy/sell depending on the position…its completely different, although may sound similar.

    MASYUK is crazy hahaha…

    Hi Teodor,

Good to know you’re experimenting manual trading with success.

Seems to me Ivybot is pretty much as good as an indicator tool in terms of finding entry points. Without human intervention and proper management, like setting up trailing stops etc., it just leaves too much to chance. That somewhat defeats the purpose of having a robot, doesn’t it?

Would be nice to try out the indicators you mentioned. Could you send them to GMAIL address, and maybe the Martingale bot as well? My email name at gmail.com is bennynorwood.

    Thanks…

bonjour , I really like your http://www.ivybotreviewblog.com site so far it look like a guiltless penny stock pick site that I saw somewhere a while back. draw with chalk on the road usually i’m busy and I work from home so I will check back.

Ok, what I have done is I hosted all my Indicators on RAPIDSHARE

So the next ten people will be able to download the Indicators + the MASYUK V2 bot

lool… the bot wiped out the account 2x for me…but its fun to test since the thing is running trades literally every 30-60 seconds!

When that link stops working, let me know, I will upload it again if anyone needs the stuff.

Gl trading….I think manual trading might be the way to go, but having some free $$ coming in from a reliable bot is also nice!

Is anyone here going to keep their IVYBOT?

    let me know.

    Cheers

Thanks Teodor for the indicators. Will try them out.

The result with Ivybot in my demo account went to +10%, -4%, +5%, and now -5%, for a demo period of 10 days. I used the aggressive settings Ivybot provided. I’ll give it the benefit of doubt for now. I still have a month and half to play with it. I’m waiting for their new version with money manager built-in.

    Ciao…
